Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2010, the Black or African American Alone female population in Ohio was 747,888 and represented 12.67% of the total Ohio female population (5,905,286).

Among Ohio counties, Cuyahoga County had the highest Black or African American Alone female population (210,120), followed by Franklin County (133,559), and Hamilton County (112,594).
