Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2017, the Black or African American Alone female population in New York was 1,838,838 and represented 18.24% of the total New York female population (10,080,806).

Among New York counties, Kings County had the highest Black or African American Alone female population (492,356), followed by Bronx County (338,412), and Queens County (257,358).
