Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2012, the Black or African American Alone female population in Florida was 1,671,484 and represented 16.94% of the total Florida female population (9,864,969).

Among Florida counties, Broward County had the highest Black or African American Alone female population (274,110), followed by Miami-Dade County (258,902), and Duval County (141,165).
