Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2013, the Black or African American Alone male population in Kentucky was 178,121 and represented 8.20% of the total Kentucky male population (2,171,075).

Among Kentucky counties, Jefferson County had the highest Black or African American Alone male population (76,009), followed by Fayette County (22,556), and Christian County (7,935).
