According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2024, the number of births for New Mexico was 20,833. Bernalillo had the highest number of births (6,579), followed by Doña Ana (2,315), and San Juan (1,357) On the other hand, Harding had the lowest number of births (8), followed by Catron (14), and De Baca (15).
