Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2016, the US Non-Hispanic Asian Alone citizen population was 11,972,355 and represented 4.04% of the total US citizen population.

Among all US states and DC, California had the highest Non-Hispanic Asian Alone citizen population (4.13M), followed by New York (1.12M), and Texas (810.90K).

In terms of percentages, Hawaii had the highest percentage of its citizen population being Non-Hispanic Asian Alone (34.75%), followed by California (12.39%), and New Jersey (7.19%).
