Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2013, the US Non-Hispanic Black or African American Alone citizen voting-age population was 26,673,160 and represented 12.26% of the total US citizen voting-age population.

Among all US states and DC, Georgia had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (2.08M), followed by Texas (2.08M), and Florida (1.88M).

In terms of percentages, District of Columbia had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (49.65%), followed by Mississippi (35.50%), and Louisiana (30.78%).
