Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2011, the US Non-Hispanic Black or African American Alone citizen voting-age population was 25,851,350 and represented 12.16% of the total US citizen voting-age population.

Among all US states and DC, Georgia had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (2.00M), followed by Texas (1.99M), and New York (1.83M).

In terms of percentages, District of Columbia had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (51.39%), followed by Mississippi (35.13%), and Louisiana (30.40%).
