According to the FBI UCR data, in 2023, there were 64,657 adult arrests made in the US for fraud offenses.
By Race: The highest number of those arrested were identified as White (40.92K), followed by Black or African American (21.63K), and Asian (975).
By Ethnicity: Ethnicity information was reported for 55,894 (86%) of those arrested. Among those for whom ethnicity was reported, the highest number were identified as Not Hispanic or Latino (46.34K), followed by Hispanic or Latino (9.56K).
