According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average weekly wage for the United States in 2024 Q1 was $1,527. Among all US states and DC, New York had the highest average weekly wage ($2,091), followed by Massachusetts ($2,015), and Connecticut ($1,907).

On the other hand, Mississippi had the lowest average weekly wage ($979), followed by West Virginia ($1,110), and Montana ($1,126).
