Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, among the 2,698,942 of the Non-Hispanic White Alone households in North Carolina, there were 229,766 households (8.51%) that had a household income that fell in the $200K - and Over category, and there were 190,277 households (7.05%) that had a household income that fell in the $150K - Less $200K category.
On the other hand, there were 773,304 households (28.65%) that had a household income that fell in the Less $40K category, and there were 212,995 households (7.89%) that had a household income that fell in the $40K - Less $50K category.
