According to data from the World Bank, the annual inflation rate of Syria as measured by the consumer prices index was 13.42% in 2020. A difference of +12.48 (1327.66% increase) compared to 2019.

The World Bank defines inflation measured by the consumer price index as "the annual percentage change in the cost to the average consumer of acquiring a basket of goods and services that may be fixed or changed at specified intervals, such as yearly".
