TONGUE FATIGUE CRACKS
ON CERTAIN TRAILERS, FATIGUE CRACKS CAN OCCUR IN A HEAT AFFECTED ZONE OF THE TONGUE WELDMENT.

Consequence Summary:
THIS COULD RESULT IN TONGUE SEPARATION FROM THE TOWED VEHICLE, INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.
Corrective Action:
DEALERS WILL INSPECT AND REPAIR THE TONGUES ON THE AFFECTED TRAILERS. THE RECALL IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN ON JUNE 19, 2006. OWNERS MAY CONTACT VERMEER AT 1-641-628-3141.
