Brake Rotor May Fracture

Spektrum Brakes LLC (Spektrum) is recalling certain Dynamic Friction R1 brake rotors, part number xxx-03054+kits. The hub of the front brake rotor can fracture and cause a loss of braking ability.

Consequence Summary:

Loss of braking ability increases the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action:

Spektrum will replace the brake rotor, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 10, 2024. Owners may contact Spektrum customer service at 1-714-777-2323.
