Possible Loss of Trailer Braking

Magic Tilt Trailers is recalling certain boat trailers manufactured October 17, 2011, through January 24, 2012. These trailers are equipped with brake actuators manufactured by Carlisle. On some of the pumps, one of the rotating components in the hydraulic pump for the brakes may have missed a heat treat operation causing the actuator to wear at a higher than normal rate. As a result, the hydraulic pump could fail and result in a loss of braking ability in the trailer.
