Rear Wheel Hub Missing DOT Marking/FMVSS 123

FWMOTO INC. (FLYE) is recalling certain 2024 FWMOTO FLY-10 and 2022-2024 FLY E-BIKE FLY-10 scooters. The rear wheel hub may be missing the DOT marking. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 123, "Motorcycle Controls and Displays."

Consequence Summary:

The wheel hub may be improperly assembled or installed without the proper markings to identify the part, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.

Corrective Action:

FLYE will replace the rear wheel hub, free of charge, or repurchase the vehicle. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed March 15, 2026. Owners may contact FLYE customer service at 646-961-5177 or email support@flyebike.com.

Insufficient Braking Performance/FMVSS 122

FWMOTO INC. (FLYE) is recalling certain 2024 FWMOTO FLY-10 and 2022-2024 FLY E-BIKE FLY-10 scooters. The brake pads may provide insufficient braking performance. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 122, “Motorcycle Brake Systems.”
