ON CERTAIN AMBULANCES, SOME ELECTRONIC MODULES USED IN THE MULTIPLEXING SYSTEM COULD EXPERIENCE AN ELECTRICAL SHORT CIRCUIT.

Consequence Summary:
A SHORT CIRCUIT COULD RESULT IN A FIRE.
Corrective Action:
DEALERS WILL INSTALL A 2 AMP. FUSE ON THE GROUND WIRE OF THE MODULE TO ELIMINATE THE POSSIBILITY OF OVERHEATING. THE RECALL IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN DURING APRIL 2006. OWNERS MAY CONTACT DEMERS AT 1-800-363-7591.
