According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2023, the net migration rate per 1,000 population for Kansas was 3.39. Decatur County had the highest net migration rate per 1,000 population (26.23), followed by Elk County (19.49), and Linn County (15.87). On the other hand, Clark County had the lowest net migration rate per 1,000 population (-42.02), followed by Greeley County (-34.94), and Rush County (-27.33).
