According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2024, the net migration rate per 1,000 population for Alaska was 0.35. Aleutians West Borough had the highest net migration rate per 1,000 population (32.02), followed by Aleutians East Borough (29.61), and Bristol Bay Borough (18.36). On the other hand, Northwest Arctic Borough had the lowest net migration rate per 1,000 population (-29.54), followed by Kusilvak Borough (-24.22), and Lake and Peninsula Borough (-23.38).
