Ohio Net Migration By County in 2024

According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2024, the net migration for Ohio was 59,916. Franklin County had the highest net migration (10,283) followed by Delaware County (4,553), and Hamilton County (3,496). On the other hand, Lucas County had the lowest net migration (-218), followed by Holmes County (-148), and Putnam County (-134).

Net migration for a county refers to the difference between the number of migrants, both domestic and international, moving to the county and those leaving the county. Or to put it simply, the net migration for a given county is the inbound migration minus the outbound migration for that county.
