Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2022, there were 2,360,419 people in Illinois who identified as Hispanic or Latino. Among this group, 90.78% (2,142,785) identified their race as White, 3.31% (78,216) identified their race as Black or African American, and 2.58% (60,792) identified their race as American Indian and Alaska Native.
