Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2023, there were 7,392,902 people that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone in Michigan and they represented 73.66% of the total population of Michigan in 2023. Oakland County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic White alone population (888,974), followed by Wayne County (853,606), and Macomb County (654,057). On the other hand, Keweenaw County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic White alone (2,081), followed by Luce County (4,869), and Ontonagon County (5,517).
