Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2014, there were 2,704,576 people that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone in Iowa and they represented 86.95% of the total population of Iowa in 2014. Polk County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic White alone population (364,788), followed by Linn County (191,373), and Scott County (139,078). On the other hand, Adams County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic White alone (3,757), followed by Ringgold County (4,778), and Audubon County (5,608).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone, Mitchell County had the highest percentage (97.39%), followed by Lucas County (97.27%), and Delaware County (97.24%).
