Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2016, there were 366,894 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone in Wisconsin and they represented 6.35% of the total population of Wisconsin in 2016. Milwaukee County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone population (251,415), followed by Dane County (27,464), and Racine County (21,744). On the other hand, Iron County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone (10), followed by Florence County (16), and Menominee County (25).
