Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2023, there were 302,627 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone in Oklahoma and they represented 7.47% of the total population of Oklahoma in 2023. Oklahoma County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone population (121,929), followed by Tulsa County (70,206), and Comanche County (18,688). On the other hand, Harper County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone (10), followed by Cimarron County (15), and Roger Mills County (21).
