Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2020, there were 3,374,615 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone in Florida and they represented 15.63% of the total population of Florida in 2020. Broward County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone population (558,029), followed by Miami-Dade County (413,740), and Duval County (295,940). On the other hand, Gilchrist County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone (598), followed by Lafayette County (1,148), and Holmes County (1,353).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone, Gadsden County had the highest percentage (54.99%), followed by Madison County (37.01%), and Jefferson County (31.57%).
