Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2019, there were 3,344,935 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone in Florida and they represented 15.56% of the total population of Florida in 2019. Broward County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone population (556,797), followed by Miami-Dade County (419,139), and Duval County (284,520). On the other hand, Gilchrist County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone (1,001), followed by Lafayette County (1,022), and Holmes County (1,301).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone, Gadsden County had the highest percentage (54.94%), followed by Madison County (37.24%), and Jefferson County (32.86%).
