Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2015, there were 282,685 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone in Arizona and they represented 4.14% of the total population of Arizona in 2015. Maricopa County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone population (214,951), followed by Pima County (33,543), and Pinal County (17,589). On the other hand, Santa Cruz County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone (159), followed by Greenlee County (164), and La Paz County (175).
