United States Non-Hispanic Asian alone Population By State in 2023

Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2023, there were 20,685,425 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone in the United States and they represented 6.18% of the total US population in 2023.

California had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (6,169,085), followed by New York (1,860,677), and Texas (1,754,290). On the other hand, Wyoming had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (6,164) followed by Montana (11,423), and North Dakota (13,240).

When it comes to the percentage of each state's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone, Hawaii had the highest percentage (36.23%), followed by California (15.83%), and Washington (10.48%).
