Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2016, there were 31,516 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone in New Mexico and they represented 1.51% of the total population of New Mexico in 2016. Bernalillo County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (17,264), followed by Doña Ana County (2,277), and Santa Fe County (1,989). On the other hand, Harding County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone (0), followed by De Baca County (2), and Catron County (7).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone, Los Alamos County had the highest percentage (6.44%), followed by Bernalillo County (2.55%), and Socorro County (1.6%).
