Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2016, there were 270,517 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone in Minnesota and they represented 4.90% of the total population of Minnesota in 2016. Hennepin County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (90,885), followed by Ramsey County (79,799), and Dakota County (20,448). On the other hand, Mahnomen County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone (3), followed by Red Lake County (8), and Traverse County (11).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone, Ramsey County had the highest percentage (14.73%), followed by Hennepin County (7.35%), and Nobles County (6.98%).
