Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2012, there were 235,018 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone in Minnesota and they represented 4.37% of the total population of Minnesota in 2012. Hennepin County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (79,477), followed by Ramsey County (67,409), and Dakota County (18,330). On the other hand, Traverse County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone (3), followed by Red Lake County (5), and Mahnomen County (5).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone, Ramsey County had the highest percentage (12.94%), followed by Hennepin County (6.71%), and Nobles County (6.05%).
