Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2020, there were 5,998,694 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone in California and they represented 15.19% of the total population of California in 2020. Los Angeles County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (1,512,242), followed by Santa Clara County (754,087), and Orange County (696,717). On the other hand, Sierra County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone (20), followed by Alpine County (23), and Modoc County (89).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone, Santa Clara County had the highest percentage (39.05%), followed by San Francisco County (35.5%), and Alameda County (31.84%).
