Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2011, there were 4,954,519 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone in California and they represented 13.16% of the total population of California in 2011. Los Angeles County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (1,358,500), followed by Santa Clara County (591,607), and Orange County (554,819). On the other hand, Alpine County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone (9), followed by Sierra County (12), and Modoc County (72).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone, San Francisco County had the highest percentage (33.45%), followed by Santa Clara County (32.65%), and Alameda County (26.73%).
