Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2012, there were 40,871 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone in Alaska and they represented 5.59% of the total population of Alaska in 2012. Anchorage Borough had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (25,294), followed by Kodiak Island Borough (2,751), and Fairbanks North Star Borough (2,721). On the other hand, Skagway Borough had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone (7), followed by Bristol Bay Borough (11), and Lake and Peninsula Borough (14).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone, Aleutians East Borough had the highest percentage (39.34%), followed by Aleutians West Borough (31.37%), and Kodiak Island Borough (19.6%).
