Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2021, there were 29,733 people that identified as Hispanic White alone in South Dakota and they represented 3.32% of the total population of South Dakota in 2021. Minnehaha County had the highest number of Hispanic White alone population (10,139), followed by Pennington County (3,615), and Beadle County (2,265). On the other hand, Ziebach County had the lowest number of Hispanic White alone (1), followed by Mellette County (2), and Buffalo County (3).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Hispanic White alone, Beadle County had the highest percentage (11.81%), followed by Aurora County (6.76%), and Grant County (5.61%).
