Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2022, there were 58,629 people that identified as Hispanic American Indian and Alaska Native alone in North Carolina and they represented 0.55% of the total population of North Carolina in 2022. Mecklenburg County had the highest number of Hispanic American Indian and Alaska Native alone population (7,638), followed by Wake County (6,424), and Forsyth County (2,911). On the other hand, Perquimans County had the lowest number of Hispanic American Indian and Alaska Native alone (11), followed by Pamlico County (11), and Gates County (11).
