According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2024, the death rate for Alaska was 7.64. Yukon-Koyukuk had the highest death rate (14.85), followed by Prince of Wales-Hyder (11.87), and Wrangell (11.12). On the other hand, Yakutat had the lowest death rate (2.91), followed by Bristol Bay (4.59), and Aleutians West (4.68).
