Alaska Native Hawaiian And Pacific Islander Alone Voting-age Population By County in Census 2020

According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, among all the Alaska voting-age population (18 years and over), there were 8,249 people who identified their race as Native Hawaiian And Pacific Islander Alone, which is 1.49% of the total voting-age population of Alaska.

Anchorage Municipality had the highest number of Native Hawaiian And Pacific Islander Alone voting-age population (6,293), followed by Fairbanks North Star Borough (419), and Matanuska-Susitna Borough (338).

On the other hand, the three counties with low number of Native Hawaiian And Pacific Islander Alone voting-age population were: Skagway Municipality (0), Kusilvak Census Area (0), and Denali Borough (0).

In terms of the percentage of each county's voting-age population, Aleutians West Census Area had the highest percentage, with 4.32% of its voting-age population identifying their race as Native Hawaiian And Pacific Islander Alone, followed by North Slope Borough (2.93%), and Anchorage Municipality (2.82%).
