Alaska Asian Alone Voting-age Population By County in Census 2020

According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, among all the Alaska voting-age population (18 years and over), there were 34,638 people who identified their race as Asian Alone, which is 6.25% of the total voting-age population of Alaska.

Anchorage Municipality had the highest number of Asian Alone voting-age population (21,049), followed by Fairbanks North Star Borough (2,622), and Kodiak Island Borough (2,166).

On the other hand, the three counties with low number of Asian Alone voting-age population were: Bristol Bay Borough (5), Lake and Peninsula Borough (7), and Yukon-Koyukuk Census Area (8).

In terms of the percentage of each county's voting-age population, Aleutians West Census Area had the highest percentage, with 29.79% of its voting-age population identifying their race as Asian Alone, followed by Aleutians East Borough (24.39%), and Kodiak Island Borough (21.94%).
