According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, among Houston, TX voting-age population of 17,886 people, 62.61% of them (11,199 people) identified their race as White Alone, 23.34% of them (4,174 people) identified their race as Black or African American Alone, and 8.35% of them (1,493 people) identified their race as Some Other Race Alone.
