According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, among Johnston, NC voting-age population of 160,099 people, 68.81% of them (110,168 people) identified their race as White Alone, 15.58% of them (24,948 people) identified their race as Black or African American Alone, and 7.24% of them (11,594 people) identified their race as Some Other Race Alone.
