According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, among Oakland, MI voting-age population of 1,013,401 people, 71.99% of them (729,585 people) identified their race as White Alone, 13.31% of them (134,928 people) identified their race as Black or African American Alone, and 7.96% of them (80,712 people) identified their race as Asian Alone.
