According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, among Cherokee, KS voting-age population of 14,861 people, 86.97% of them (12,925 people) identified their race as White Alone, 7.72% of them (1,147 people) identified their race as Two Or More Races, and 3.75% of them (557 people) identified their race as American Indian and Alaska Native Alone.
