According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, among Montgomery, AL voting-age population of 177,427 people, 55.16% of them (97,867 people) identified their race as Black or African American Alone, 35.81% of them (63,536 people) identified their race as White Alone, and 3.47% of them (6,160 people) identified their race as Asian Alone.
