According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, among York, VA population of 52,982 people, 70.05% of them (37,111 people) identified their ethnicity as Non-Hispanic - White Alone, 12.54% of them (6,644 people) identified their ethnicity as Non-Hispanic - Black or African American Alone, and 6.18% of them (3,275 people) identified their ethnicity as Non-Hispanic - Asian Alone.
