According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, among New Kent, VA population of 18,177 people, 78.48% of them (14,266 people) identified their ethnicity as Non-Hispanic - White Alone, 12.63% of them (2,296 people) identified their ethnicity as Non-Hispanic - Black or African American Alone, and 3.80% of them (691 people) identified their ethnicity as Non-Hispanic - Two Or More Races.
