According to the data from the US 2020 Census, as at April 2020, among all Kentucky counties, Jefferson County had the highest population density per square mile (2.06K people per sqr mile), followed by Fayette County (1.14K people per sqr mile), and Kenton County (1.06K people per sqr mile).

On the other hand, Hickman County had the lowest population density (18.66 people per sqr mile), followed by Cumberland County (19.29 people per sqr mile), and Owsley County (20.52 people per sqr mile).
