According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, the voting-age population, of people (of all racial backgrounds) in South Dakota who identified as Non-Hispanic (not hispanic or latino) was 645,400; and represented 96.44% of the total South Dakota voting-age population.

Minnehaha County had the highest non-hispanic voting-age population (140.72K), followed by Pennington County (81.30K), and Lincoln County (45.78K). On the other hand, the three counties with low non-hispanic voting-age popoulation were: Jones County (687), Harding County (965), and Hyde County (973).
