Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2020, the White Alone population in North Carolina was 7,355,450 and represented 70.36% of the total North Carolina population (10,453,812).

Among North Carolina counties, Wake County had the highest number of people who identified as White Alone (763,167), followed by Mecklenburg County (639,468), and Guilford County (299,138). Tyrrell County had the lowest (2,050).
